Safety: Improved safety is the most obvious (and most important) benefit of having your employees wear neck lanyards with their ID tags. By requiring everyone to prominently display their ID badges on a lanyard, you can ensure that if an unauthorized individual enters your office, they will be quickly identified by you or someone on your staff.
Employee Interaction: This benefit is especially true for medium to large office environments. Since all of your employees will have their name visible, there is no excuse for your employees not speaking to each other on a first name basis. Adding a policy that involves your employees wearing a lanyard will help instill the idea that they are all part of a team and should work together to help improve the company.
